Community Advisory Council

Fremantle Hospital (FH) is committed to partnering with consumers to ensure a patient-centred approach to service delivery and to ensure that the consumer voice is heard, acknowledged and valued.

The FH Consumer Advisory Council (CAC) includes consumer, carer and community members.

The CAC provides support and advice to our hospital to improve the hospital experience for patients, their families and other hospital consumers.

Some of the areas of involvement include:

  • planning, development and evaluation of health services at our hospital
  • input to health service delivery at our hospital
  • advocating for consumers, carers and the community
  • promoting consumer and community participation
  • facilitating communication and cooperation between our hospital, local service providers and the community.

Terms of reference for the CAC are currently being reviewed and will be added to the website once finalised.

Other ways to get involved

Our Consumer E-Network is a group of consumers interested in partnership and participation and helps the hospital by reviewing patient publications.
