Kaleeya Hospital’s maternity unit offers women and their newborn babies excellent care and service provided in a modern, comfortable environment.

Consultant Obstetricians, GP Obstetricians, Paediatricians and Registered midwives all work together to deliver a model of care which meets the needs and wants of the woman.  This also involves working collaboratively with KEMH, Fremantle Hospital and General Practitioners.

Kaleeya Maternity also provides women with onsite services from allied health professionals including physiotherapists, social workers, dieticians and a pharmacist.

The facility offers:

  • a dedicated maternity ward
  • four birthing rooms
  • a large bath for pain management in labour
  • a range of accommodation, all with the convenience of ensuite bathrooms and access to private balcony areas
  • a nursery for babies requiring low level nursing care
  • access to experienced and qualified lactation consultants
  • an antenatal clinic, outpatient telephone advice, and antenatal and childbirth education classes
  • a visiting midwifery service
  • in patient physiotherapy
  • post natal exercise classes
