The Fremantle Hospital Ladies Auxiliary (FHLA) has received a generous donation from the Fremantle Workers Social and Leisure Club that will help fund a new fridge for the hospital kiosk.

Club Vice-president Mick Bell said their 350-strong membership base was delighted to support a worthwhile cause.

“Many of our members have been in Fremantle Hospital and they have all had very good experiences here,” Mick said.

“This donation is part of our social commitment to give back to this community.”

FHLA Manager Tony Nella thanked the club and its members for their donation and their generous support.

FHLA is a registered charity formed in 1925 and operates the only retail food outlet in Fremantle hospital.

Proceeds raised from sales are used to fund much-needed hospital equipment and resources to benefit the community.
