Consultant Obstetricians, GP Obstetricians, Paediatricians and Registered Midwives all work together to deliver care which meets the needs and wants of woman.  This also involves working collaboratively with King Edward memorial Hospital, Fremantle Hospital and General Practitioners.

The Hospital Model of Care is predominately midwife led clinics with women being referred and seen by the medical staff if necessary.
Midwives will be the main caregivers in labour and after birth, with medical consultation as necessary.
Women may opt to have Shared Care with their GP. This should be discussed with your GP, This model of care requires women to have a booking visit at 16 weeks with the hospital midwife in the Antenatal Clinic and then all Antenatal care with the GP until 36 weeks. All care from then will be provided by the Kaleeya Maternity Unit, in the Hospital Care model
A Continuity of Carer model is being implemented at Kaleeya.
